Want to return a product

At YoungEnginer.in, we believe that customer satisfaction is key- therefore we stand behind all merchandise bought at our site. We will replace any order within 20 days of delivery, with free return shipping if you receive a product which is not as per the specifications ordered by you,

  • Wrong Size
  • Wrong Color
  • Wrong Quantity
  • Defective
  • Damaged, Or
  • Significantly different from the description given by the merchant

However do make sure that the merchandise has not been used/worn or altered/tampered with, as well as is accompanied by its original price tag and packing slip.

For wrong quantity, damaged or missing items, contact us within 2 days of receiving the order.

How do I initiate a return and what happens afterwards?

  • File a return request from your registered mail, in Subject field With Order Id–Return Request and send it to admin@youngengineer.in.
  • Return request is reviewed by YoungEngineer.in.
  • If it is required, request is shared with the merchant for his approval.
  • After approval, pickup of the product is arranged through our courier partner.
  • If our reverse pickup service is not available on your address, we will ask you to dispatch the product. The courier charges will be reimbursed by us on Merchants Approval
  • After the product is received, it is verified against your claim. Replacement or refund is initiated after that. Replacement would depend on the stock availability

It takes between 1 to 3 weeks from the time a request is raised to the time the product is delivered back to us. Exact time would depend on the nature of the product and your location.

Please be assured that we work very hard to ensure that your interests are protected.

 

Want to replace a product

If your purchase is covered under buyer protection and if the product is in stock with the merchant, replacement will be done. If product is out of stock, we will issue you refund

If the product that you have received is the same that you had ordered, merchant's consent is required to replace. Before ordering please make sure you have read the product description and chosen the right size and color.

Products should be returned in the original condition. The returns will not be accepted if

  • Damaged due to misuse of product
  • Consumable product which is used
  • Returned without original packaging and accessories
  • Serial Number is tampered
  • Products is not covered under Manufacturer or Seller warranty

 

How should I pack the product for pick-up?

Make sure that the merchandise has not been used/worn or altered/tampered with, as well as is accompanied by its original price tag and packing slip. On the box, do mention your order number. If your order is approved for pick-up, you will receive the packaging instructions and return address in a separate email from us.

 

When will I get the replacement or refund?

We initiate the replacement or refund within 10 working days of receiving the product at our center. For refunds it takes up to 3 weeks for the amount to get credited in your account after we have initiated the refund. The refund/replacement may get delayed or declined if the product received by us is not as per your claim or you have not written order number on the package.

Product has manufacturing defect

If the product has manufacturing defect, you are covered under buyer protection.

If it is a branded product like electronics or home appliances, you should claim the warranty by calling or visiting the nearest service center of the brand.

For non standard products, please contact us at Customer Care Section and we would take your issue with the merchant.

 

Product is significantly different from description

You are covered by  Return & Replacement policy in case you receive a product that is significantly different from the description on the Site. This not only covers, wrong size, color, style etc. but also any wrong promises or details in product description including major quality issues, expiration date etc.

 

Wrong quantity delivered

If wrong quantity is delivered, you are covered buyer protection. Inform us within 2 days of receiving the order through Customer Care.

Please ensure that you have carefully checked in the box and have gone through the order and product details.

 

Product is damaged

All products are carefully packed before dispatch. In a rare circumstance, if the product reached you in damaged state, please contact us within 2 days on Customer Care.

 

Missing parts in the product
